Network installationIn order to run MedCalc in a network environment, you need a MedCalc multi-user license and product key. Contact us for details.
From the download section, you can download a set of 2 utilities, mcservsu.exe and mcnetsu.exe that you can use to configure medcalc in a network.
Method 1: place license on serverUse mcservsu.exe to enter the product key and distribute the license from the server. From the network server, or a client computer, double-click mcservsu.exe in the MedCalc folder on the server, and follow the instructions on the screen. Advantages of method 1:

This method is preferred in a small organization or in a controlled setting such as a computer class room. After having placed the license on the server, you may still want to run mcnetsu.exe in order to configure medcalc.exe and the MedCalc file extension .mc1 in the registry of the clients. mcnetsu.exe accepts different command line parameters so some of the configuration process can be automated. Method 2: place license on clientsUse mcnetsu.exe to enter the product key on each individual client. From the different client computers, run mcnetsu.exe from the MedCalc folder on the server, and follow the instructions on the screen. Advantages of method 2:
